Fond du Lac Rugby Inc. Donations
Fond du Lac Rugby Inc. is in need of financial support to:
-
help
offset our organization’s ongoing expenses,
-
extend our reach within the community, and
-
fund upcoming improvement projects.
By supporting FDL Rugby Inc., you’ll be supporting a 501c3
not-for-profit athletic organization that provides numerous
opportunities to the youth of our community.
Our organization reaches out to both boys and girls who
aren’t involved in other school activities, and who wish to
participate in one of the most popular sports in the world.
Through rugby, many of our star players have been able to
compete all across the country and around the world during their
high school career.
FDL Rugby Inc. is also committed to community service, for a wide
variety of needy causes.
The members, family and friends of our organization dedicate
countless hours of their time to the various services that we
provide to the public.
While this volunteer time is an extremely valuable resource,
monetary donations are another critical resource that allows us to
provide these services year after year.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
We will gladly entertain other ideas that you may have, based
on your specific needs and preferences.

CONTRIBUTION OPPORTUNITIES
Donations
By donating money to FDL Rugby Inc, you are performing a generous
service of your own, whether you expect anything in return or not.
You can be comforted in knowing that every dollar you give
goes directly into one of the finest rugby organizations in the
state.
Regardless of the dollar amount, we’d be extremely grateful for any
contribution you are able to make to FDL Rugby Inc.
You will be joined by many coaches and players who also
donate money out of their own pockets to support the organization.
For our neighboring businesses, we will make every attempt to direct
your donations toward expenses related to the beautification and
maintenance of the grounds.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
While some choose to make straight monetary donations, others prefer
sponsorship opportunities, which can give their organization,
product, service more exposure in the community.
Every week, hundreds of our members conduct their daily
business all around our community.
While we’ll have a large contingency at all of our rugby
events, we will also be abundantly present in our local businesses,
schools, colleges, workplaces, events, and other venues.
Therefore, endless opportunities exist for attracting people
to your cause, as you support for our cause.
While FDL Rugby Inc. is not in the business of selling advertising,
we do like to recognize our supporters who make generous donations
to our organization.

sponsors with a small logo appearing on jerseys, shorts, socks,
jackets, shirts, hats, etc.

Brand Exposure from
Most visitors to
Certain events will have idle time (i.e. two hours between matches
at a tournament), so many people will explore the area to shop and
spend. Those with
children will appreciate local businesses and attractions that can
entertain the kids during these longer events, such as bowling,
dining, play areas, hiking trails, etc.
Between all three teams, we typically host at least 20 home matches
per year, mostly in spring and fall, against teams from all over
In addition to regular matches, FDL hosts the annual Wisconsin Elite
U19 Select Side Tryout Camp in spring, which brings in 50-70
players, 6-12 staff members, plus referees, league officials,
parents, and media from all over the state.
This is an all-day event that starts early in the morning,
and many players, coaches and parents stay overnight at local
hotels.

WHY DOES FDL
All of our teams are self-funded; meaning that all of our expenses
are paid for by player dues, fund-raising activities, sponsorships,
and donations. Our youth
clubs are not affiliated with any school district, and do not receive any form of school funding.
Expenses include transportation, union dues, uniforms, equipment,
medical trainers, insurance, referees, facility maintenance,
promotion, etc.
In keeping with our mission, we strive to reach out to people from
all walks of life, including those less-fortunate.
Through the discipline, hard work, and camaraderie associated
with rugby, there are many success stories that we are extremely
proud of, that are the direct result of simply giving a person a
chance.
In order for rugby to remain affordable for individuals and
families, we need additional sources of funding to make this
possible. Your
generosity helps us continue to provide numerous rugby opportunities
for hundreds of people in our community.
In addition, we have an energetic group of officers with ambitious
goals for the organization.
Our ultimate goal is to make Fond du Lac the finest rugby
city in the state, which will require additional fundraising,
sponsorship, and donations.

We’d like to meet with you in person to discuss this in more
detail. Please call
Dale Klitzke at 923-1063 to set up a meeting with one of our
officers.
